Chris Seymour – Keyboard & Vocals

Chris is originally from Plattsburgh, NY, where he played in the music industry semi-professionally since he was 13. Chris learned to play piano at a young age taking piano lessons for 6 years before switching to guitar. Piano just wasn’t Rock n roll enough for him.
He played in many bands from the Plattsburgh area in the mid 70’s and into the 80’s and was also part of the house band at the Office Bar for a couple of years. Eventually life would bring him on the road in the mid 80’s for several years playing in such bands as, NY Asylum, Section 8 and Rokken. Playing all over the New England area, parts of Canada and Nova Scotia playing to crowds as many as 10,000 plus fans. He also met Stephen King, Aerosmith, Zebra and a few more celebrities while on the road.  Moving back to Plattsburgh he played with Voyager, Kickstart & Dr. X. He then decided he wanted another change in his life so he moved to the Albany, NY area in the mid 90’s. It wasn’t long before he was playing again with such bands as, Jukebox Heroes, DaVinci, Joe Mama Band, Meltdown, Even The Odd, Spoiler and the Master Cylinders. He is now the Keyboardist and singer in the band Spoiler .

Don Lackey – Guitars & Vocals

Randy Rhoads was the guy who started it all for me. I’ve always loved his playing and I knew I had to play guitar. There are so many amazing guitarists that have inspired me over the years from many different genres of music but I always seem to gravitate towards rock.
Back in the 80’s I played guitar for the rock band Blitzen, playing mostly original material throughout Albany, including the long lost Saratoga Winners, NYC, New Jersey, and Connecticut. We opened for such bands as Lynch Mob, XYZ, EZO, and Foghat.
In the early 90’s I was a music major at SUNY Adirondack while playing in cover bands Dreamscape and The Sequel. Later I would join Jukebox Heroes, which included Chris at one point, Even The Odd, Spoiler, and Something Wicked.

Presently, in addition to rockin’ with Spoiler, you can see me in Monsters of Rock, which is a tribute band to 80’s hair band and metal bands. You may also see me filling with the band Mischief or playing with Dan Mellon as an acoustic duo.

My equipment list is rather simple but effective:

Kevin O’Brien – Bass guitars & Vocals

I started playing guitar when I was 8. I stopped until I was 12. My first “band” actually didn’t have a ton of songs, but we actually had an original or two. I realized how many good guitarists we had in the area, so I switched to bass. Then, I kept switching back and forth for a few years. This was good in that I write slot of originals on guitar as well. My first gigs were in downtown Saratoga, in the 1980’s. I played around 4 or 5 Block Parties in Saratoga, which meant large crowds! I loved it! That was in OUT OF STEP. Over the years, I have been in: OUT OF STEP, USER, HARDKNOX, ROAD DOGS, MANTRAZ, DOUBLE EXPOSURE, VOODOO HIGHWAY, FAR NORTH, TRAINED BEE ASSASSINS, BROILED SOUL and many more. I also am still active with my wife in JUST LOOKINGBAND. I love playing bass and singing. The bass is the groove of songs, and of any band. SPOILER asked me to fill in, and it really began to click. Chris, Greg and Don are the consumate professionals and musicians. Everything from Journey to Whitesnake, Led Zeppelin to Kiss, The Cars to Aerosmith. Done professionally!

Greg Henzel – Drums, Percussion & Vocals

I started hitting buckets, cans, boxes, my brothers and anything else that would make a noise when struck as early as I can remember! I was 6 when my parents bought me my first drum set from Sears, it was called ‘Dynamite’. My grandfather, Robert McIntyre, was a professional Dixieland jazz drummer. My father Raymond, was an amazing singer. They will always be my biggest influences. So many other drummers have influenced my playing. Bonham, Gary Mallaber, Jerry Gaskill, Philip “Fish” Fisher and of course “The Professor” …the list goes on and never stops. So many bands have inspired me! To name a few… Jellyfish, The Beatles, Switchfoot, Galactic Cowboys, Cheap Trick and King’s X. Love the hooks and harmonies!

I’ve  been so fortunate to have played with many great musicians, people and bands in and around the capital region of NY over the years.
There is little in life that can beat the feeling of getting up on stage, playing with my friends, for my friends.

As far as my gear goes, I am using Pearl Session Custom maple drums. I also incorporate a Roland SPD-SX with various pads for percussion and samples. My cymbals consist of Zildjian, Sabian, Dream & Wuhan. Vater sticks.
